A New Motion Lab licensed chainring design utilising a re-engineered tooth profile that increases drivetrain efficiency.

4mm 7075-T6 black anodised aluminium with standard tooth track chainring to suit a 144BCD 5 bolt crank. Laser etched WattShop and New Motion Lab logos to the front face.

The standard track tooth profile means this chainring is specifically designed for use with a 1/8" chain.


 

Product Description

Developed exclusively by New Motion Labs, Enduo™ Track uses a revolutionary sprocket and chainring design that enables roller-chains to transfer power on both sides of a tooth, leading to ground breaking increases in efficiency and speed.

This technology, called dual-engagement, eliminates the relative movement between tooth and roller seen with a standard chain.

Tested on a custom-built chain dynamometer it offers over 99% drivetrain efficiency and when compared to the most popular track drivetrain at Tokyo 2020 it offers up to a 50% reduction in drivetrain losses.
Furthermore the dual engagement improves chain retention.

Chainring and cog sizes may seem a little strange but both are the exact same diameter as conventional chainring and cogs, just with half the number of teeth.
